If you want to use pin machines for ticket sales for an event, always reserve them first by sending an email to the Quartermaster (Alexander) to prevent clashes. Additionally, always bring the pin machines back to the AUCSA office after using them.
At the beginning of the year your CAO should have sent you a manual, otherwise contact the quartermaster.
