In Munich, they celebrate Oktoberfest every year to celebrate the marriage of Prince Ludwig and Therese von Saxen-Hildbrughausen. This marriage took place in the 1800s but since there was a lot of beer involved, the Bavarians thought it would be a good idea to keep the tradition going. Therefore, every end of September until the beginning of October they still celebrate, but now with over 6 million visitors every year. Since this fest has a legendary status throughout the world, we thought it would be fun to nice to keep AUCafe’s tradition by hosting our FIFTH AUC Oktoberfest! With this, we will encourage everyone to dress-up in German costumes and hopefully motivate them to do so by giving a “best dressed” prize towards the end of the night. This event will take place on Tuesday, the 24th of September, at 21:00 at Maslow.
