Event Details

CUT is back with our first screening of the year, and its no less than a collaboration! Refugeless Project is a humanitarian and audio-visual project “born as a confrontation of the shameful answer of the European Union to the migratory crisis.” (refugeless.com) The documentary, Refugeless (2018), is a crowdfunded film that took 1.5 years in the making – the founders, Eva Serós and Jose Márner, interviewed refugees in Greece and travelled across Europe to bring their messages to their familiars living in different countries. According to the founders of the project, Refugeless is “A european film in search of Europe”. Join us on Thursday to listen to these stories and, perhaps, get a better grasp of what refugees themselves think of the ordeals that have been thrust upon them, and what is our complicity in it. As always, popcorn will be provided. Love, CUT
