Do you have a fear of public speaking and want to finally do something about it in a nice and friendly environment? Or do you love arguing with your friends about politics, news, movies and other topics, proving anything to anyone, and feel like you want to develop this talent? Or are you just enthusiastic about debating, but have no idea how it actually works? Worry no longer, because AUC Debating society is here to save you!

On Wednesday, the 21st of November we will organize the first debating workshop of this year. We will firstly have a short workshop on how to debate, how to improve our public speaking skills and develop a solid argument, and then apply this new knowledge in actual debates! Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, you’re very welcome to join. We will start at 5 PM at the Academic Building (room TBA). Still unsure whether debating is for you? Here are some points we would bring up if this was a debate:

• Improvement of public speaking skills
• Coming up with arguments on a spot
• You will blow your teachers away with your beautiful well thought-out arguments
• It’s your chance to get involved in the AUC community
• It is going to be great fun
