In pursuit of a glimpse of the exotic and remarkable, most birdwatchers seek a sighting of the rarest species, finding wonder in the infrequent. However, Gaze invites you to discover this wonder in the common birds we see and hear every day to uncover a novelty in the familiar. Bringing together an exploration of both sight and sound, we encourage a creative reproduction of the experience, using a refreshed and imaginative perception to produce a photograph, song, performance, poetry, sketch … or anything else – the freedom to choose is yours!
We’ll provide snacks, binoculars, and safely distanced socialising!
