The October Budget GA is the first General Assembly of the academic year, and open to all members of the AUCSA. The goal of the Budget GA is to give AUCSA members the opportunity to actively participate in deciding where the money of the AUCSA goes.

 

This money comes largely from the AUCSA membership fees, which is included in the tuition fee you pay to AUC. This also means that you – like all students at AUC – are an AUCSA member, and that YOU can have a say in what your money is spent on.

 

Before the GA, the AUCSA Board and all committees draft a budget for the whole year. At the GA itself, all AUCSA members (so also the onesĀ not in a committee) come together to discuss this budget and decide whether it will be approved or not!
