For a decade, Marian Spier was the driving force behind TedXAmsterdam and recently has launched FEM-START. FEM-START is an international online learning platform that helps female entrepreneurs to find the perfect investment fit. Overall, FEM-START demystifies the world of funding and prepares female entrepreneurs. The program is tailored specifically to women because worldwide only 3% of all entrepreneurs are female. However, Marian advocates for diversity and inclusion in investment and entrepreneurial practices. She looks to create space for women, millennials and entrepreneurs worldwide to have their voices heard. She focuses on projects that have a social impact and create cultural change.  Thus, during her workshop Marian will speak about her professional experiences, personal investment knowledge, entrepreneurial coaching and inclusive professional approach. Overall, Marian is simply a super inspiring female figure, who’s biggest motivation is impact and we are super excited to have her at AUC.
