Ella MacLaughlin is a 22-year-old AUC alumna who graduated in January 2020. After working as a nanny for four months, she joined AIESEC, an international exchange organization, as a full-time member. There, she manages all outgoing voluntary exchanges and leads a team of five people. She plans on pursuing a Masters in Public Policy next year – a study she had never imagined pursuing before learning more about her practical strengths and weaknesses during her gap year.
Rijk Willers is a 22-year-old AUC alumni who graduated in 2019. Some of you may know him best as one of the RA’s of last year, a function he greatly enjoyed. In addition to his time as an RA, he decided to take a gap year taking time to work, to select a masters and to start enjoying studies again. Currently, he is enrolled in the Advanced Master in International Relations and Diplomacy at Leiden University.
