How do I promote my event?

If more of an impression needs to be made, tickets need to be sold, or if students are to be given time to ask questions of the committee board, a stand can be set up outside the AUCSA office during lunch break. This stand should not block the fire escape and can carry the committee’s banner and/or posters to draw attention. Such information sessions/stands should be announced at least a day in advance (through Facebook, at least), and providing a free beverage or snack will draw in a lot more students. These are especially good to organise in the early weeks of each semester, but it doesn’t hurt to organise them more regularly.
