IDFA, International Documentary Film Festival is right around the corner, and we are collaborating with them once again!
On Tuesday the 18th of November, we have secured spots for the film Sirens Call (2025) by Lina Sieckmann and Miriam Gossing – who will both be present at the screening.
We follow a nomadic siren, the psychologist Gina Rønning, and the American merfolk subculture, who journey through a scattered Earth, navigating biography, identity, and belonging while challenging tensions between mythology and our postmodern reality. Shot on 16mm, the genre-defying blend of science fiction, road movie and documentary, carries a beautifully languid and fluid atmosphere.
Tickets are normally €8,00 for students, but we’ve secured a discount—yours for just €6,00!
We have a total of 20 discounted spots available so make sure to sign up quickly as we will stop accepting responses after the limit has been reached.
The screening will start at 21:45, and we will organise a communal bike ride at 20:45 from the dorms to the location.
