For the beginning of the semester PlayUC invites you to rediscover video game history and the fun side of technology in our emulator workshop! Emulators are a type of software that mimics or emulates the functioning of a video game console or other hardware. Today most retro games are played through emulators which allows to benefit from the increased computing power and run on all kinds of devices from laptops to phones. In about an hour we will go through some basic theory and installation guides before playing some retro games as much as you like!
