In our winter edition of the DTED, we have partnered with RePeat, an organisation focused on educating the public about the importance of peatlands. Through this collaboration, we hope to provide students with a chance to not only enjoy vegan dishes made with locally sourced food and/or crops, but to also learn about the incredible work that RePeat does to preserve and restore peatlands globally. During the dinner, some of the RePeat members will give a brief presentation, and the room will be filled with interactive and informative posters. RePeat will also open the event to a select few members of the wider Amsterdam community (such as other university students). This will serve as a chance for AUC students to interact with the wider Amsterdam community and learn about environmental and sustainability initiatives in Amsterdam. The cost per person attending will be 5 euros.
